The encounter is a film in three parts unveiling abandoned spaces where different encounters take place between three duets of characters. In those places dedicated to dream, the characters experience an ephemeral moment through which an instant becomes eternity.  Every actor also experiences his first encounter with his or her partner during the shooting.

Considering the projection on three distinct screens, the choice of the repetition of identical dialogs conceived to give priority to the musical aspect of composition is the beating heart of the creation.

The dialogues composed by the extracts from director’s journal, from the improvisation between the actors and the director. The project asks viewers about the place of dialogue in a narration, somewhat in the manner of an ’’exercise de style’’ by French writer Raymond Queneau.

Three-channel shows the three encounters in parallel.
